6 steps: Create a creative project
Here's a summary of the usual steps I go through when creating a creative project. It might guide you when creating your own project..
IDEA
It all starts with an idea. A seed that we water and let bloom into something beautiful. If there is a constant flow of ideas, it is important to know what is worth investing our time in on a more long-term level. Think about whether the idea is something that you will be happy to look back on and fit into your other creative life. Some ideas come up and are fun at the moment and then you lose your interest.PLANNING
When we have our idea that we have decided to go with, it is important to set up a plan for what we need and how we are going to proceed. What time we need to spend, what budget is required, what we need to do to make our idea a reality and so on.
PREPARATION
Preparations are a must and now it's time for the more practical work to create our project. Buy what is needed. Rent locations, obtain materials and talk to potential partners and of course the creative creation and execution.
MARKETING
Create a marketing plan for the launch and how to create a conversation about your project. If it is an event, any invitations and posters will be made. If it is a product, it requires reaching out in other ways after launch. Have competitions, events, workshops, share and teach something about the launch.PERFORMANCE
The launch of your product or possibly the implementation of an event. Of course, it depends on what kind of creative project you have created. Here you show it to the audience and get to see it meet the world. Can be both exciting and very nervous.EVALUATION
Once you have created and completed your project, it can be good to evaluate for future projects. What went well and what wasnt as great? What are you going to do differently next time? Can you be more economical or use your time better. Maybe you have come up with a new marketing strategy that you think will work better and so on. There can always be things you learn every time you implement something and then improve. Do not expect everything to be perfect as it is an unreasonable requirement to put on yourself but have fun and learn while you do it. Keep creating!-------------------------------
