Tips for writers! Sharing my method
Do you like to write? Here's a great tips on how to get started. This is a method I use when writing or creating something heavier or already have the story but do not know how to get it down on paper..
You may be able to relate to having a big idea that you carry around but it feels too overwhelming to even think about getting it down on paper? No worries.
To remove the pressure I'll create a bunch of smaller notes. On each note I write down the parts/chapters that story needs or should have. Then I brainstorm around every note, write words or short sentences of what comes to mind until each note is filled with lots of thoughts and information. Finally, I sit down and start writing the story and take it note by note. Break it down into such small pieces that makes it feel doable to you. If it feels too big, you need to break it down more. Writing one note at a time feels a lot easier than the thought of an entire story.
And don't forget. Write first and then edit! The first draft certainly does not have to be perfect. Just get the story down and then go back and edit.
